More Calls for Work, Barb M, Pelham, and 25/8 Call

I got called by Barbara McNamara Casting earlier in the week to work on a movie they have, but I couldn't make out the name of it, had a bad connection, but had to decline due to business travel.

Also called by Billy Dowd Casting to do the driving scenes in The Taking of Pelham 1:23 this weekend, but begged off on that too, as they say they could cover it okay without me. I am super impressed with Billy Dowd and Shawn Duffy there. Courtesy, warmth, friendliness, efficiency, genuine caring, and professionalism are the stuff of buena gente and good business.

I did get time to visit the call for the 25/8, Wes Craven movie. I understand its a horror movie involving high school, all shot in CT! It appeared folks from Sylvia Fay were there and Johnston Agency. I like the Fairfield Theatre Company, its a nice resource worthy of investment and so conveniently located at the train station there. I'm posting some pictures taken from the visit soon to http://photos.DanDelventhal.com. Just go there and click on 25/8 Movie Call Pics.

The best part about getting today off was time with my older daughters Nikki and Shanna, their time at home is so progressively fleeting, so I'm happy to relish it while I can! Visiting with extended family, the fabulous film faithful of the tri-state area was great too.
