Joan Cusack

Dan Delventhal and other local actors who registered with C & G Casting for the Disney production of Confessions of a Shopaholic "went shopping" Monday at the Danbury Fair Mall in CT. It was a fairly low-key but pleasant and smooth experience over-all. Hats off to C & G Casting, Green Scarf Productions, Disney, PJ Hogan and team, and the actors, Joan Cusack especially.

I have a shot at being in a boardroom scene coming up, so my fingers are crossed. I just got a nice haircut too, so I look the part.

Also filming a formal wedding scene in it soon.

It was interesting to hang out near the directing team (PJ Hogan and crew); they were energetically and dynamically refining and updating the scripts and action. I also got to see Isla Fisher and her baby, and Joan Cusack. Had a chance to chat briefly with Joan. Complimented and congratulated her on such a famous, funny and flamboyant history and presence. She was gracious, commenting, "I wish my father could be around to hear you say that". I have been seeing her a lot on TV lately, but she says she works less these days now that she has children. Really a likeable person!

Hanging out with the other fine people there in the cast of actors from the tri-state area was really great. Good to see everybody!
