Indy Jones 4 - Dan Delventhal, New Haven, CT
I hadn't done anything else to seek acting work since The Bronx is Burning, but in June, a rash of open calls for movies appeared in CT! I went to 6 or 7 calls for background work and got work on 5 or 6 of them. The best one was Indy Jones 4 in New Haven. Especially the day they located me to be an emergency stand-in for Harrison Ford -- but after thinking that was the case for 10 or 15 minutes, the regular one showed up after all and I was relegated back into the regular ole background role for the day. That was a week of work and I got to meet and see many good people including Radioman and Spielberg.
Billy Dowd Casting is the best. They gave me a few waivers, which meant more pay and SAG membership eligibility which is sometimes an elusive thing for those early to the acting game. Billy and Shaun there are great guys.
